Create task 1
Hi bloggers!
My book choice is called Christchurch Earthquake the Characters are: Ellie, (Ellie’s friend Penny),
(Ellie’s cat Billy) The problem was There was a very hard Earthquake Ellie’s house was save to live in but her cat Penny’s house was dangerous to live in. And It had to be demolished.
Tiger, the ginger moggy and star of Quaky cat is back. His home and neighbourhood are now fully repaired and life is good. However, Tiger still cannot sleep. He knows that other cats in earthquake-ravaged Christchurch are not as fortunate as he is.
Seismic waves are produced when some form of energy stored in Earth's crust is suddenly released, usually when masses of rock straining against one another suddenly fracture and “slip.” Earthquakes occur most often along geologic faults, narrow zones where rock masses move in relation to one another.
Characters: Ellie, (Ellie’s friend Penny) ,mum, Dad, Ellie’s brother, (Ellie’s Cat Billy)
Setting: Christchurch/ Ellie’s house.
Problem: There was a big hard earthquake at Ellie’s house, Ellie’s friend house. Penny can’t open the front and can’t use the toilet.
Solution: The engineers visited Ellie’s house. Ellie’s house was save to live in but the garage need strengthening.
